FAQS
Does the expandable home require a permit?
Our expandable homes may not meet the requirements for a building permit as a permanent dwelling. However, if placed on a trailer, they are classified as a caravan or tiny house, which typically does not require a building permit.
We strongly recommend consulting with your local council before using an expandable home for any purpose other than as a transportable caravan or temporary dwelling to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

how many people are required to install?
Given the varying local council regulations across Australia and the substantial weight of our expandable units, we strongly advise hiring a qualified local installer for the setup. For our 20ft expandable unit, a minimum of 4 people is required to unfold it.

This underscores the importance of selecting an installer who is experienced and familiar with the specific challenges of handling our products, ensuring they have the necessary skills and qualifications to achieve the highest installation standards. Proper installation by professional installers is essential not only for efficiency but also for the safety and durability of our heavy expandable units, ultimately protecting your investment.
